This food festival in India happens in Meghalaya and is conducted by North-East Slow Food and Agrobiodiversity Society (NESFAS). The idea is to encourage foods that are grown locally and cooked by the native communities of Northeast India.

3. B.Y.O.H (Bring Your Own Hunger)


Location: Ansal Plaza, Delhi

Time: 23rd to 25th December

This is one of the newest entrants in the food festivals of India. This three days food festival will kick start on 23rd December and will be held till 25th December 2018. A lot is expected out of it especially the performance by Jassie Gill and Babbal Rai and also some live band performances. This food festival is set to give an opportunity to various food vendors from Delhi to win the hearts of Delhiites by showcasing their epicurean skills and mouth-watering dishes. 



4. Itsy-Bitsy Food Festival


Location: High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel, Mumbai

Time: February

The most important thing to know about Itsy-Bitsy is that this is the only food festival in India is the first zero-wastage food festival . This unique food festival sees more than 30 food outlets which are set up by some renowned vendors from Mumbai and they serve only bite-sized food. The serving quantity is the main reason why this food festival is termed as zero-wastage food festival in India.
